Atlanta Carpet Cleaning Services – Get The Clay Out Now

People will always ask us why do you have a carpet cleaning Van for new construction?  Isn’t the carpet brand new? The answer is always the same “It’s Construction” we mostly clean up the Georgia Red Clay that gets tracked into the house from trades, customers, agents, or the builder. And since it’s a brand-new house it can’t come with red stains in the carpet. Atlanta Clean Tech is the only cleaner that a builder needs. Builders don’t have to hire another cleaning company. Plumbers or other trades flood the house all the time and it usually happens at 4 pm on Friday for some reason. If a house floods you want to get it out as quickly has possible.  The more a house is finished the more it’s going to cost so sometimes with worth it to make sure someone can get there asap.

Most of our carpet cleaning request we get from our is because of the Georgia Red Clay. We get even more request in the wetter months. The spring rains bring the most rain and March is the wettest month in Georgia. When it rains landscapers will not install sod and if a lot of bare ground is exposed it can cause a serious problem and we hope the E.P.A. doesn’t shut down the neighborhood like we have seen in the past. The builders work hard to cover the ground and adding walkways. A lot of times you see walk boards going into the house and I recommend if you put walkways to get into the house install plastic runners/ walkways inside the house. Make sure to install walkways all the way to the windows. If you have a lot of work left to be done in the house install plastic over all the carpet.

Carpet is the main choice of flooring because of its price and if you keep it clean it can last a long time.  Carpet can be a main feature of a home or an embarrassment if its dirty or smelly.  Dirt can get inside the carpet and cause the carpet to wear out more quickly.  Cheaper carpets are also another reason for them to wear out more quickly.  Dalton Georgia is the carpet capital of the world, so we see a lot of different carpets and more of it because of the deals north Georgian get. Vacuuming the dirt out and keeping the carpet dry is the best way to get the most life out of your investment. Once it gets a stain, the carpet needs to be cleaned asap and it is recommended at least once a year.

Nothing will improve the smell of your house than carpet cleaning.  Hard surfaces are easy to clean but carpets catch everything.

Process:

The Red in the Georgia Red Clay is iron oxidation aka rust. Ask any Baseball Mom about getting Red Stains out of cotton.  The most important thing is to do it quickly and aggressively. You want to soak the product that breaks down the Georgia Red Clay add heat and remove all the water.  If you leave the water in there you will just have another problem called mold.

Atlanta Clean Tech uses a very similar setup to Stanley Steamer for carpet cleaning. There are only really 2 brands of carpet cleaners, and we use the shop that has the closest repair location to us. Then you have Zero Rez using empowered water and claim they don’t leave any residue. If you’re a trained professional, you don’t leave a residue. Chemicals are always going to clean better than water anytime. Our process involves putting down a pretreatment specialized to the stain or the high traffic solution. The we bring the hoses inside the house and start the Van mounted Carpet cleaner. When bringing in the house we also bring in the wall protectors to prevent dragging the hoses against the walls. Then we use steam to heat up and dissolve everything except the carpet. As we put steam down it cools quickly then we extract the water immediate.

Carpet Cleaning Steps:

Professional carpet cleaning involves a systematic and thorough process to ensure effective removal of dirt, stains, and allergens. Here are the typical steps involved in professional carpet cleaning for homes and offices:

1. Pre-Inspection:

  • A thorough assessment of the carpet’s condition, including the type of fibers and any specific concerns such as stains or damage.

2. Furniture Moving:

  • If applicable, furniture is moved to ensure access to the entire carpeted area.

3. Dry Soil Removal:

  • Dry soil, dust, and debris are removed using a high-powered vacuum cleaner. This step is crucial for the effective removal of loose particles before the application of cleaning solutions.

4. Pre-Treatment:

  • Pre-treatment involves applying a cleaning solution to areas with heavy stains or high traffic. The solution helps break down dirt and prepares the carpet for thorough cleaning.

5. Spot and Stain Removal:

  • Specific stains are treated with specialized stain removal solutions, targeting different types of stains like coffee, wine, or pet stains.

6. Agitation:

  • Agitation techniques, such as brushing or grooming, help distribute the cleaning solution evenly and ensure effective penetration into the carpet fibers.

7. Hot Water Extraction (Steam Cleaning):

  • Hot water extraction is a widely used method where hot water and a cleaning solution are injected into the carpet under high pressure. The mixture is then extracted, along with dirt and contaminants, using a powerful vacuum.

8. Neutralization:

  • pH-balancing solutions are applied to neutralize any cleaning agents, ensuring that no residue is left behind on the carpet.

9. Post-Spot Treatment:

  • Additional treatment for persistent stains may be applied after the main cleaning process.

10. Grooming:

  • The carpet fibers are groomed to restore their original appearance and promote even drying.

11. Speed Drying:

  • High-velocity air movers are used to speed up the drying process. Proper drying is crucial to prevent mold and mildew growth.

12. Post-Cleaning Inspection:

  • A final inspection is conducted to ensure that all areas have been effectively cleaned, stains have been addressed, and the carpet meets quality standards.

13. Protective Treatment (Optional):

  • Some professional carpet cleaning services offer an optional application of carpet protectors to help repel future stains.

14. Post-Cleaning Recommendations:

  • Clients are provided with recommendations for maintaining the cleanliness and longevity of their carpets, including advice on drying times and care instructions.
